Yes, that is easy to do: in a transient analysis you can specify inputs as functions of time via various pre-implemented functions, your own analytical expressions or measured profiles. You will find many tutorials illustrating how to set up transient problems in the Model Library (Accessed through the File menu, in version 4.4). If you are starting with the software, we'd recommend you work through the exercises contained in the "Introduction to COMSOL Multiphysics" manual (Accessed through File>Help>Documentation or, alternatively, here: www.comsol.com/shared/download...uctionToCOMSOLMultiphysics.pdf).
